Beginner Developer Learning Center by Microsoft

Category: CSS, Web Development

A new and very useful site has appeared at Microsoft.com - the Beginner Developer Learning Center. Here’s the official description:

Welcome to the Beginner Developer Learning Center - a centralized learning environment specifically targeted to beginning programmers. Here you’ll find a rich array of learning content that starts with the very basics, and guides you through step-by-step to becoming a fully-fledged developer!

No experience or programming knowledge required - so dive right in!

They have 2 tracks on the site - Windows or Web Development. I took a look at the Web side and there’s some great stuff in there:

> Overview of the Web
> CSS Guides
> JavaScript, etc

And each lesson can be read online or downloaded as a PDF. They even have presentation movies.

Guessing that this site would be helpful in some way to most developers - not just beginners.

Cheers for that, that’s a good link. You’re right that a couple of the tier 3 articles were actually quite useful, even after all these years!

@ Endie

No problem. Yeah, forgot to say that they divide it up into tiers, from basic to advanced.
