Apple launched their new line of iPods last night as expected. The main models are:

> the iPod Nano - now with widescreen video (and a weird shape)
> the iPod Classic - same as before but with more storage
> and the iPod Touch - the iPhone without that pesky phone bit

For me, the choice would have to be the iPod Touch. Except, I’m still waiting for Apple to announce the iPhone here in the UK. I’m between mobile contracts at the moment, anxiously waiting for this thing. I would just like to know how much it will cost so I can either say, “Boy, that’s a ridiculous price, forget that” or say, “Wow, that’s actually affordable, going to get one of those bad boys”.

Until then, would have to agree with Gizmodo and say that that the new iPod lineup offers hard choices, with no clear winning device.
